Maybe the best day to have taken this Training. As I was going through a roller coaster of mixed emotions and feelings and with me the problem always lies in the Identification of trigger point .
This lesson not only help me in figuring out my trigger points but also inspired me to prioritize my-self and my well being. As a mother of two kids and juggling with tasks to be completed and finished to the perfection. Pretending and smiling as everything is going well. But I guess i was ignoring my burn-out point.
So here some of the important points I took from this training.
1.Self-care has always been a personal journey, a pathway to reconnect with one own self amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life.
2. Finding those moments where one can breathe, reflect, and nurture one's soul. It’s about creating a sanctuary within oneself where you can retreat and recharge.
But what does self-care look like in my life? Let me take you through my journey.
1.Listening to Soft Music
There’s something profoundly soothing about soft music. Whether it’s the gentle strumming of a guitar, the calming melodies of a piano, or the tranquil harmonies of nature sounds, soft music has a way of transporting me to a place of peace. I often find myself lost in the rhythms, allowing the music to wash over me and cleanse my mind of stress and worries. It’s my go-to escape when the world feels overwhelming, a simple yet powerful way to find solace and serenity.
2.Embracing Solitude
Isolation, to some, might sound like a negative word, but for me, it’s a form of self-care. Isolating myself doesn’t mean cutting off from the world entirely; it means carving out quiet moments where I can be alone with my thoughts. In these moments of solitude, I reflect, meditate, and simply exist without the noise and demands of everyday life. It’s in these pockets of stillness that I find clarity and reconnect with my inner self.
3.Learning New Skills
For me what works best is learning something new. It’s a way of challenging myself, pushing boundaries, and growing. Whether it’s picking up a new hobby, delving into a new subject, or honing a skill I’ve always wanted to master, learning invigorates me. It gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment, reminding me that there’s always room for growth and improvement. Each new skill learned is a step towards a more fulfilled and enriched version of myself.
As for me , I want to engage in more creative pursuits, such as painting or writing, to express myself in new and fulfilling ways. Additionally, I aim to prioritize physical self-care through regular exercise and a balanced diet, nurturing my body alongside my mind and soul.
