Our inaugural Nganza community-based ECD center has proven to be a catalyst for transformative change within our community. 

Key impacts include:

Enhanced Child Development: 50+ children who have attended our first center have shown remarkable progress in cognitive, social, and emotional development. They exhibit increased confidence and curiosity as they progress in mastering skills for school readiness. 

Empowered Parents: More than 100 parents were reached through our educational programs; parenting support sessions and home visits. We have witnessed a significant increase in parental engagement and involvement. Parents have become active partners in their children's education, leading to improved home-school collaboration. 

Community Development: The center has become a hub for community activities, fostering a sense of belonging and shared responsibility for child welfare.

Staff Growth: Our teacher and caregivers team has grown from 3 to 6 and gained invaluable experience and expertise in early childhood education, contributing to their professional development.

Overcoming Challenges

While our first ECD center has achieved remarkable success, we have also encountered challenges:

Resource Constraints: Limited funding and human resources have posed challenges in providing optimal care and education.

Infrastructure Limitations: Inadequate facilities and equipment have sometimes hindered the implementation of our programs.

Community Awareness: Raising awareness about the importance of early childhood education has been an ongoing process.
