I am writing to you on behalf of Trans-nzoia Youth Sports Association (TYSA), inviting you to the above memorable occasion.
We are unveiling and celebrating the UN MDG AWARD on Saturday 9th October 2010 at the TYSA Girls Resource Centre in Trans-nzoia East district. The celebrations start at 8.00AM and ends at 4.00PM. We expect over 600 participants majority being young girls.

TYSA has been recognized for its’ efforts in empowering the girls through value based sports and other empowerment projects.TYSA is the UN MILLENIUM DEVELOPMENT GOAL AWARD WINNER 2010 for promoting gender equity and women empowerment.

The celebrations will be a good occasion for you to be associated with this UN MDG AWARD and demonstrate your solidarity with the local community, other stakeholders and youths. It is a moment for the community to advocate and prioritize girl’s empowerment in Trans-nzoia County. The occasion will be characterized by brass band match, Inspirational talks from invited guest as well as testimonies from the girls & community members.
