International Girl Child Day

Our aims is to ensure the rights of girls, promote their inclusion, and empower them economically to reduce poverty in future generations. Our organization with a vision that seeks to empower the girl child with different skills.

In the past 3 years, we have successfully implemented training programs solely for girls in collaboration with some organizations, aimed at equipping teenage girls with four major skills which include Baking, Fabric bag and slippers making, Accessories making and Event planning. These skills are essential in the fashion world and events. They are also creative skills that bring out their creativity, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in various aspects of life. We have been able to train over 200 girls over 3 years.

One of the major challenges the students are facing is lack of training materials and equipment. Our trainings are hands-on training. The students need to have their materials and simple equipment to be able to practice on their own.

As an organization we will really love to train more students, if we can get support to buy training materials for the girls. they are always excited during the training class. some of our trainees are already earning from what we thought them. Vocational skills are also needed to build entrepreneurial skill in our girls so as to reduce dependency ratio, reduce teenage pregnancy and many others. Thank you to World Pulse for this opportunity.
