It was dusk, and the house felt empty, just me, my aunt, and the maid.

I was sitting alone in the living room, the windows wide open,

letting in a cool breeze that whispered through the curtains.

Calmly, I immersed myself in a live audio event hosted by our top creator,

I felt relaxed, enjoying the moment until, suddenly, the electricity went out.

I wasn’t afraid of the dark; I remained seated, glued to my device, convinced it was just a minor inconvenience.

But then, an unsettling feeling crept over me.

It was as if someone was there, watching.

I brushed it off as my imagination, a trick of the mind, and continued listening.

Yet, a few minutes later, that feeling returned, stronger this time.

Someone was approaching me.

My heart raced, and my mind went blank.

In sheer panic, I began reciting Durood Sharif, hoping to calm my racing thoughts.

I sensed a presence sitting on the floor beside me.

You can’t imagine the whirlwind of thoughts racing through my mind, fear mingling with disbelief.

“UFF!” I screamed, “Maamaaa! Maamaa! Where are you?”

Then it hit me: no one was home except me, alone on the ground floor.

I felt my breath quicken as I shouted louder, my voice echoing through the empty space.

And that’s when I realized, I wasn’t alone after all.
