Alive but at what cost

Dear Women of Palestine,

I write this letter to you to acknowledge the relentless pain and suffering you have endured in the face of war. It is with a heavy heart that I witness how the ravages of conflicts have mercilessly stripped away everything you hold dear. Homes, livelihoods, loved ones – every aspect of your lives has been scarred by this ongoing battle.

Yet, in the face of such unimaginable loss, you remain unwavering symbols of strength and resilience. Your spirit, your determination, and your unwavering hope inspire not just your fellow countrywomen, but women around the world who face their own adversity. Your struggles are not overlooked nor forgotten.

It is essential that we recognize and amplify your voices, for your experiences shed light on the brutal realities of war. Your courage serves as a call to action, urging all of us to unite, advocate, and strive for peace, justice, and equality.

Know that you are not alone in this fight. We stand beside you, ready to uplift your cause and support your efforts to rebuild, heal, and create a brighter future. Together, we can ensure that the world does not turn a blind eye to the pain you endure and empower others to stand against the atrocities of war.

With deepest sympathy and unwavering solidarity,

A woman
