A Louder Voice

As a global citizen and a practicing journalist, I endeavor to become the voice of the voiceless, the downtrodden, the marginalized and the discriminated against in our society. I stand as their bridge to communicate their sufferings and pain to the world and expose their adversaries' criminal acts to push government to eliminate gender based violence. I have meticulously worked on this direction by writing GBV stories in print, online and advocating for these works even to the extent of face to face engagements with people whom I know can help in pursuing equal rights for all. I work for this cause simply because I myself am a victim of sexual violence, and right to the core, i understand the pain and suffering and the discrimination that similar women face. I am their own voice but I dared to speak louder.

This is the prime reason that I pursue to become a "voice of our correspondent" in Worldpulse. The platform that wordpulse use allows me to connect to a wider network, pushing me to speak louder and assuring me that there is a strong support, love and kindness from people out there. I can draw strength from them. I can draw strength from you. And in unity and strength, our stories can send positive ripples of change around the world.
