I joined World Pulse because I believe in the power of connection and shared voices to bring about real change. I envision a united Africa where opportunities flow freely, unhindered by borders, and where we uplift each other through our strengths. World Pulse feels like a community that aligns with this vision—a place to learn, share, and build pathways together for a thriving continent.

My passion lies in creating spaces where voices are heard, especially those that have been marginalized or overlooked. I am deeply motivated by the vision of a united, self-sustaining Africa, where our identities are defined not by political borders but by the richness of our cultures and shared aspirations. The idea of fostering opportunities that resonate across borders inspires me every day.

I live in Nairobi, Kenya, a place of vibrant cultures and resilient people. My favorite thing about Kenya is our spirit of "harambee," or pulling together as a community—a concept that has long defined our unity and strength.

My name is Peninah, chosen by my parents for its biblical roots, symbolizing strength, resilience, and kindness. I’ve grown to love the name because it connects me with these values and reminds me of the strength in my heritage.

To the World Pulse community, I ask: How do you stay motivated in challenging times, and how do you find ways to bring positive change to your communities? I’m eager to learn and share ideas on building a better future together.
