Aaliyah shot the video for her new music, Rock the Boat. The team & Aaliyah were eager to leave back to the US after a successful video shoot. However the RnB star was rather feeling uneasy to board the small aircraft; after the pilot explained the aircraft was overweight. She was filled with more anxiety when she saw the airplane. Later on she complained of a headache and eventually fell asleep in the cab while the mess was being sorted in the aircraft. Her team came to check out what was transpiring, she stated her concerns & one of them gave Aaliyah a sleeping pill and unknown to her she was transported into the airplane. This was how she met her untimely death, her autopsy revealed she sustained severe head trauma, & she suffered extensive burns. Nobody survived the crash. It was later reported the aircraft was overweight.
