Activate Your Life: Get Motivated (For Real This Time)!

If you are living in clutter, confusion and seem to not ever get things done when you really want to, chances are you are not properly motivated. Living passively will only attract passive people and demotivating situations into your life. Take control with these simple steps:

  1. Clean: clutter in your home and office means clutter in your mind. Stagnant energy piles up in the stacks of paper and disorganized files. Making your work space pleasing to the eye will increase your productivity. Replacing clutter with objects of refuge such as spiritual icons, flameless candles, and aromatherapy, is a great way to create a sanctuary where you most likely feel a lot of stress. Place motivational quotes in areas where you have a tendency to stare off into space to keep you focused on the prize.

  2. Save the Date: Make a date book of the goals that you would like to reach. Start with short term goals that are easily attainable. As you succeed in their actualizing, challenge yourself to set slightly higher goals. Project into the future and set major goals. The great reward is that the goal will have been met and you have manifested a dream.

  3. Speak Success Into Your Life: If you want something, you have to proclaim it. If you become wishy-washy with your goal or procrastinate on the small steps toward an even bigger dream, those around you will do the same. Be BRAZEN with your ideas and have confidence in sharing them. You never know who may be around the corner waiting to support you.

    1. Make Your Own Choices: Asking for someone’s opinion is one thing, but allowing someone to make decisions for you takes away your personal freedom. Whether it is a spouse, parent, or boss, always stake your own claim and have the strength to stand by whatever decision has been made. No matter the outcome, your choices are the vehicle to the next destination of your life. Stand strong and trust in yourself.

  4. Celebrate the Smallest Victories: Take your awareness down to the most finite detail of your life and observe the everyday tasks that you perform without having to think about them. Watch yourself accomplish the most mundane tasks and celebrate them. As you begin to appreciate your ability to wake up on time, take out the trash, or finish a book, you will become happier and the bigger tasks will not seem so difficult and you will notice your life begin to balance.
