Attemptes to silence women journalist voices.

Since the outbreak of protests in Sudan in 2013, Sudanese female journalists continue to face constant violence, threats, and intimidation from the political, security, and military parties in Sudan,

which puts their lives in danger along with members of their small and extended families. There are continuous attempts to silence their voices through various means, including security reports, letters, threats, and other threatening methods. At the same time, threats directed at offline journalists continue to increase

The recent period has witnessed multiple cases of online attacks on the social networking sites Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp, causing concern for a number of female journalists and media professionals, which constituted a direct threat to their psychological and social safety.

Most of them now leave Sudan.
