Busayo's extraordinary life!

\"No to inheriting women and lowering them into slaves for delivering children\". That was Busayo's, a correspondent of World Pulse, cry when rejecting remarrying her windowed mother to a cousin, according to traditions, 2 decades ago in West Nigeria.

Her kin expelled her and her family; she was lowered into a pitiable position for several years, when forced to study and work hard to gain living.

A small rented room with one bed and a mattress for the small brothers to pass the night witnessed the climax of a lifetime struggle for this wonderful creature.

For several years suffering did not prevent her from reaching her goals. \"We sold every thing we have to provide meals. I know that the only way to win the battle fair and square is by having the necessary knowledge\".
That was her guidance when she sat down on the floor to study at a jerky light of small unhealthy lamp.

\"WHO EXCEPT BUSAYO COULD MAKE SUCCESS OUT OF NOTHING?\"

That question came to my mind as we were finishing our interview through yahoo chat messenger.
Successful wife, Mother of four (one adopted), Busayo, 44, held leading positions in the field of education.
Fighting against customary law, empowering women, raising awareness and establishing 'Women Inspiration Center' are her goals.
Joining the program constitutes a turning point in her life:\" just like discovering an oasis after a long journey in the desert of thirst\", she said adding that \"life now has a different taste\".
