WE belong to each other. Kamala, bring it on!
Being part of herstory brings me chills of delight! The day after President Biden announced he would not run for President and that he supported his Vice President in becoming the 47th President of the United States, black women in American hosted a zoom call that raised over a million dollars. They modeled what could be done. Dozens of large groups learned and copied that successful way of getting the word out, raising money, and inviting volunteers to support her plausible first-time ever female presidency being voted into office.
Over the past week, I have participated in several calls that have raised more than $200 million for her campaign. White women, black dudes, Asian Pacific women, AKA sorority women, unions, networks of all kinds are making the choice to invest their time, money, talents, connections, and enthusiastic support in her campaign. The energy is palpable, the ideas are flowing like a flooding river, the smiles and hopefulness are bursting through in the smiles of so many bold, strong, creative advocates. I even applied for the Director of Climate Engagement the night she declared. Subsequently, I learned thousands applied for the position.
I ask you to use your influence with those who might contribute in any way to Vice President Kamala Harris running for President in the USA, please share this with them. The world will be so much more female-friendly if the entire world pitches in and has a woman in charge of a leading nation in Earth in 2024. I am actively listening and speaking for a hopeful, happier United States of America. We belong to each other.
Like it's been said in my home, when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. When America is happy, the world will be happier, healthier, more caring, and prosperous. First, we must make sure Kamala (her step kids call her Momala) is elected for the sake of strengthening the global Democratic movement. Give any amount by texting "women" to 30330. Here are 9 more ways to support her. https://pattidigh.substack.com/p/ten-ways-to-support-kamala-harris
Her policies support caring communities. Her legal background and having been a Senator are a perfect foundation for writing compassionate laws. Being a mom gives her an understanding what it takes to raise kids in America today. She supports efforts to lower drug costs, reduce child poverty, forgive student loan debt, and remove medical debt from credit reports. These are all investments for living a life of caring. She'll be promoting a global caring economy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamala_Harris
If elected in November 2024, she will be the first woman, first African American and first Asian American president in the history of the United States. Trailblazing is hard. Let's collaborate to make it easier for her. She's not wierd, she's just first.
