Cast your vote for Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world

Time Magazine has announced its list of leaders, artists, innovators and icons. Please support the people of Iran by casting your vote for two courageous Iranians who we feel merit spots on this year's 100 most influential people in the world.

Mir-Hossein Mousavi
Age: 68
Occupation: Iranian opposition leader
Previous TIME 100 Appearances: 0

Mousavi, once a protégé of Ayatollah Ali Khomenei, has emerged as a problem for the regime he helped create. Despite losing last year's presidential election — or, as many Iranians believe, having it stolen from him — he has deftly marshaled his supporters into a political movement that has resisted numerous threats and crackdowns.

Zahra Rahnavard
Age: 64
Occupation: Iranian academic, political activist
Previous TIME 100 Appearances: 0

By openly campaigning for her husband, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, in last year's presidential election, Rahnavard came to represent the emergence of Iranian women as a powerful political force. Her charisma helped draw young people to Mousavi's camp. Inevitably, the local media dubbed her "the Iranian Michelle Obama."
