Choosing yourself always

As a society, we spend a lot of time worrying about things that don’t matter very much in the end.

No, it won’t matter what kind of car you drove. 

It won’t matter how much money you had in the bank. 

It won’t even matter what kind of job you had.  

What will matter, more than anything, is the kind of person you chose to be. If you were kind, generous, open-minded, and patient. If you chose to leave your fears aside and live this life with courage, acceptance, and love. 

If we all decided to become the better version of ourselves today, this world would be a much better place.
