CONCAT Tech's Story

Hey all! Laura from CONCAT tech here, I would like to start our first story post on World Pulse by introducing ourselves. We are the first digital design and development agency solely led by women and refugee developers. 

Our story began in 2019, when I met Bob and Souad, our Lead Developers. Both of them were super-talented refugees living in Lebanon who were unable to get equal access to employment because of their refugee status. So through my network in the UK, we started working on clients who needed new websites, and this is how CONCAT Tech was born. 

Today, our amazing team consists of 90% female developers (who said there’s no female developers!?) and we have delivered over 80 top-quality websites to international clients, now from across 12 different countries, and our team is nearly 8 full-timers! 

We are also really passionate about helping founders and businesses get access to affordable tech services. We have created very easy and clear processes and our business model is based on transparency and advising our clients on the very best solutions for their needs.
