Congratulations!

Dear sisters,

This week PulseWire's Voices Rising has glistened like never before! Your Frontline Journals are beautiful, gripping, and incredibly powerful pieces of work and I am blown away by the high caliber of writing, research and professionalism that you have displayed in these high impact articles.

I am so excited to sit down this weekend read every one - and get to know each one of you more intimately and what issues and experiences fuel your inner fire and led you here to World Pulse. I know that a lot of sweat and maybe some tears too, went into this body of work, and I am honored to be working with you here on PulseWire.

I also wanted to acknowledge those of you who composed letters for the UN Women Action Blogging Campaign! As leaders in our community, your voices help carry those who may be speaking out for the first time, or those who may hesitate in valuing the power of their own voice. I am excited to share your letters and recommendations with UN Women and our partners at the GEAR campaign, so that we can ensure the needs of grassroots women leaders are being heard and incorporated in this new UN agency.

Congratulations to Sarvina and Fungai, whose letters were recently published in the Community Letters column of our online magazine, and will be featured in an upcoming E-Magazine!

If you haven't yet submitted your letter, there is still time to join the campaign, and an opportunity for your letter to be published. We will be extending our campaign to collect more letters throughout the next two weeks. Join us!
