Conquer your fears and embrace the whole world in Love - I nominate Ms. Patricia Onuoha for the 2021 Spirits Awards

I feel honored to nominate Ms. Patricia Onuoha for the 2021 World Pulse Spirit Awards. I had the privilege to interact with her during our preparations for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – International meeting held in Salamanca, Spain in 2018 and from the exchange of mails before we finally and physically met, gave me a true picture of a person I was expecting to meet.

  • A selfless person

  • Interactive

  • Accommodating with an appealing smile on her face all the time

  • A team player and without doubt lifts up people around her when they get stuck with something

  • Very passionate about the well-being of the less privileged people, especially the elderly and children

  • It is indeed because of her passion to extend her love to the less privileged that she was invited to Spain where she worked on voluntary basis sharing her laughter and care to the people and quiet recently she was in the UK with a similar program to that of the one she had gone for in Spain.

  • Patricia is a good writer and a good story teller as well. In 2019 she participates in the Global literature completion by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and she emerged second, a competition aimed promoting other co-founders of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

  • In her home Country Nigeria, Patricia is a community worker, always sacrificing her life for the good of others

  • Only if we can have ten (10) people of Patricia's caribre in every 100, people, who are ready to conquer what seems insurmountable, an embodiment of self disciplined individual and a youth leader full of hope and aspiration, indeed the world might totally be different.

  • At international level Patricia, recently was appointed as duty chairperson for the Communication committee, an important department for the Confederation General International for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and with no doubts Patricia embodies the World Pulse Spirit and winning the Award certainly will lift more people around her and the global family at large.
