COP28UAE

I got the opportunity to be a panelist as a youth at the COP28UAE side event hosted by The Green Economic Institute, where the topic agenda for session B was about gender-diverse inclusive policies and solutions for keeping the climate at 1.5 degrees. It is personally emphasized in youth participation in climate decision-making that global decision-makers need to consider our opinions and voices for climate action.

Wangari Mathae, a Nobel Prize winner, brought change to climate action and encouraged fellow women activists that we are agents of change, leaders, and innovators. The fact that our voices are heard, especially in African countries, has opened a door that won't be closed anytime soon.
