Daddy is a liar

The title of the commercial drew me in. I thought it was cute, but once I goir into it, and saw the depths of the content of the ad, I wad floored.

Wow.

What love, what commitment, what... a father.

I know not all of us were fortunate enough to be blessded with such a father, but if you were, take some time to thank your father for sacrificing so much.

How may times have we lied to spare those we love? If they knew our true sorrows, perhaps it would harm them so much we prefer to suffer in silence, to shield our tears and expose our heart to no one except God.

So go ahead and give that special man in your life a big hug and huge thanks.
