I was raised with the thought that i will never marry anyone out of my caste and religion because my family name will go down. its the damn 21st century and people are here talking to their kids about religion and caste. this is my story. if you want hear it. I'm an Indian and you would have found that out by how i started. I was raised abroad. when I came to India I realized how many ways people can differ from another. I'm only 13 but I know these things because i was the listener of my families struggles. I speak up for everyone. i didn't wanna make a change but I wanted to get out of this change but they wouldn't let me. it was different. I student in a private school but still I saw discrimination between boys and girls. Christians and Hindus, high class and lo class, foreign or Indian. in everything i saw somebody being treated less than the other. a girl from Dubai can tell our dorm Akka to make her bed but the same thing a girl from India asks, that is it. if a guy from Netherlands catches a cold he gets to go and rest in the dorm but same thing happens to a guy from Coimbatore he has to sleep in class with a 100 degree fever. girls have to sit separately from he boys because they are the ones going and sitting and chatting with the boys and "distracting" them. what does this sound like to you?
