Do not send your girl child out as nannies please

So September 9 is set aside as school resumption date in Cameroon and at the Same Time this is a period where there is a mad rush for nannies and most vulnerable parents are lured into giving out thier girl children out to go take care of other children who comes from financially stable homes.

Most at time these children are sent out to families they know very little About or nothing completely. 

If you ask these parents  what is happening to thier child/children in those houses they will not know, as some are abused sexually, some are more of slaves while others don't even have descent meals... 

These parents give you all sweet talks to have children and worse is  some of us who claim to be well educated are the ones who go take these kids to give to our loves ones or friends but we fail to do proper follow up on them later on yet we are mothers and sisters and cannot give out our own children because we know the reality out there . 

I remember years back just after my F.S.L.C, i was taken to Douala to work as Nanny in the home of one Mr. Sama  who ended up  seeing me as his second wife or sex toy unfutunately i couldn't even say anything to my parents because all means of communication were cut off and till date i am the only one who knows the ordeal i went through in that house. 

So while we pray for those who started school this 2024-2025 academic year, it's my plea that we all stop this bad attitude of sending children out to people we are not sure of

Let us stop infringing on these girls fundamentals human right. 

If we can help them better thier lives fine and good if not please allow these girls under the Care of thier parents Abeg 🙏🙏🙏 

We have agencies that are certified to do cleaning ... We have daycare services make use of them Abeg 🙏🙏🙏🙏
