According to statistics, cameroon has recorded 43 cases of femicide in 9 months that is from January to September. Its assumed that most of these death occur due to negligence by women to take some threats seriously or take necessary measures in preventing them from occuring....

Once a threat has been voice the probably of it's execution is on a 100  already....by vertue of of law No. 2016/007 of 12 july 2016, section  302 is to te effect:..

(1)" that whoever threatens another expressly or by implications with force or other other interference in Case of his failure to comply with any other or condition shall be punished with imprisonment for from 10 days to 6 months and fine from 5000frs to 25000frs.

(2) where the force shall constitute a felony ( that is if he actually kills the person,) the punishment shall be death or imprisonment for life.

(a) if the threats is verbal, the punishment shall be imprisonment for from 6 months to 3 years with a fine from 5000frs to 70.000frs

(b) if the threats is in writing as attached herein, the punishment shall be  imprisonment from 2 yrs to 5 years  and fine from 10000frs to 250000frs.

I believe if we start by using one person to serve as an example then others will learn

There is no joke as far as words uttered are concerned worse if it involves human life.

Therefore we will make sure to follow this particular case diligently to ensure the safety of those concerns and ensure the perpetrator of such ultrances faces the law.
