Story
The pains IDP'S (Internally Displaced Persons) go through in my country couple with the challenging COVID-19 that has plagued the world is a call for concern. Here i am with never ending cries from women who barely struggle to feed themselves and their children.
Regina is a single mother of two beautiful girls. She has been working as a maid for some months since she got to Douala after running from the North West región. For some months her boss stopped her from working and she was left with nothing to call her own then she ran to me and Shared her struggles. At the end of our talk she left with 30.000frs (52dollars) which i gave her to start a small food business. Regina sent me pictures of her small table food business this afternoon. I couldn, t hold my tears especially when she was screaming and telling me how well the little business is helping her feed herself and her children. No child should go hungry. Poverty is an enemy to women.
