EDUCATION INEQUALITY

When the global pandemic got to Nigeria, schools were shut down and students were asks to return home.

In a bid to occupy students and ensure they are not academically redundant online classes was initiated.

Then I ask, what about students in rural areas who don't have access to electricity, internet, smart phones, laptop?

Section 18(1) of the Nigerian Constitution guarantees right to education:

Government shall direct its policy towards ensuring that there are equal and adequate educational opportunities at all levels.

The plight of the students in the rural cities is: 'Please give us a chance to learn'

Then I ask, is there education equality?
