Empowering girls for the future

Many girls in Africa especially my country Nigeria face a lot of challenges everyday. Growing to become a women has so many ups and down,  cultural Barries, religious beliefs and traditional practices that limits girls from reaching their full potentials.  

I will utilize the International Day of the girl child to lend my voice again and again on Child or early marriage, Female Genital mutilation,  sexual reproduction health rights and many more. 

Empowering girls with knowledge on this issue is very vital for our girls to take hold of the future. To be able to make the right choice and take right decisions on their human right. Empowering girls will help break the circle of poverty. 

Providing adequate and correct information about their human right and sexual reproductive health is vital. 

I will be engaging girls from various secondary schools in the rural communities of Enugu State on the International Day of the girl child.
