In other to better our communities and improve on the living conditions of individuals, my team and i have been committed to combatting the numerous community problems like adolescent pregnancies, rape, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, hunger, waste management and lack of educational funds to support children in school.

Here is how my organization @HAND IN HAND Cameroon, is committed to improving communities:

1. Engage community educational programs to educate the people on Gender Based Violence,

2. Engage community empowerment programs to train women and girls on skills like the making of ice cream, liquid soap and soda soap. We believe this skills can help support livelihood and improve on the living conditions of families. This skills can be used to begin Petit businesses that can generate income for livelihood support, help train and keep girls in school, reduce juvenile deliquence in the society and reduce the rate of adolescent pregnancies in the communities.

3. Train communities to engage green farming techniques and best practices that can improve crop yields and equally protect the environment. This will help reduce hunger and poverty within the community.

4. Raise school funds and provide physical school kits to support children in school.

5. Offer medical and legal Support to victims of SGBV.

6. Volunteer in clean up campaigns.

Amongst this initiatives, we have recently lunched a two weeks series of free empowerment program for women and girls, which we have so far trained over 120women on liquid soap and ice cream making.

Our upcoming program will take place at the Cameroon Baptist Church premises on friday 13th october 2023 at 4pm, where we shall be training over 30 women and girls on how to make liquid soap and hand purses 👛 from plastics.

We intend to donate 15bags of flower and 15jugs of vegetable oil to 15 vulnerable Fulani women who have fled from the on going Bokoharam war at the Northern part of Cameroon and now camping at Tole village in the South West Region.
