Empowering myself

In August 2016, i lost my job ,just at the time i was planning to empower ten women to start a small scale business and its like i wont be able to survival because i have the type of partner that only care for the kids. I have always been a dogged woman who don't like to depend on anyone , i stated buying and supply in a little way.Later in 2016 we moved from where we where living to our own house in a not well developed area and i was faced with what to do.I have always love to teach, i took up a teaching job and also enrolled to have certification in teaching,so i enrolled for a PGDE  (post graduate in Education) .I struggled to pay the fees and i was glad that am able to start and finish the course, because its involve traveling every weekend.

I am sharing my story, to say to other women out there that we should not relent in our effort to make ourselves better. Dont wait for a man to have your undergraduate  or postgraduate degrees. Stand up and stand tall in all you purpose to do.

Going through the course gave me more understanding about Education, as a course and as a process of  imparting knowledge and has given me abroad knowledge about my initiative which really believe in educating the girl child.Teaching has made me to meet a lot of student ,interacting , sharing their problems ,encouraging and motivating them.

In the light of these,i am organizing a program for the youth in my community .Titled-Who am  I.Coming up August 2018.
