Finally , done!

Dear sisters

How have you been? I feel like I should have been here earlier and now I could share you how I have done Each One Teach Five. After I was given the assignment I was so busy with my two new jobs and my part time job. How ever I tried to start with the arrangement of a workshop which I should do as well. So I contacted a women organization and discussed about it. But I was supposed to spend lots of money far beyond I could afford. Later on I talked about VOF to many women and I told them I would hep them if they were interested in VOF. They showed their interest but, some of them were worried about their English language skill, some of them were concerned with internet access and some of them were too busy to spend time here. I was thinking about doing it with my young adult students at my evening school . But it was their vacation and I couldn't reach them.
Then I was waiting for their return to second semester and again we switched the classes and I had to wait for closer relationship with them. Unfortunately I was seriously ill and hospitalized and couldn't go to school for a couple of weeks. After these challenges I could manage Each One Teach Five starting from last two weeks and here is the process.

I printed out the VOF announcement and attached my invitation to join the work shop to start Each One Teach Five. And I also arrange some registration sheet to sing in with their name , email and contact number . I posted on of them on the notice board and took the rest to my classes for my students. I also wrote the date and the time for the workshop. Now again the time was their preparation for the semester exam( final exam) . But I have got seventeen girls registered for the program. Most of them were students from my classes and some were the ones I don't know and they haven't shown up yet. So I changed my plan to do the workshop in my classes as an writing activity and did it. I did it in two sessions. In the first session , I explained them what World Pulse is, how it is helping and what VOF is. Then I explained them about four modules and answered questions from some students.

In second session there were 58 students in my two classes and they were combined in a class . They were in their eighteens or twenties in second year in that school . Some of them are graduates from some other universities, One thing was about half of them
were boys. So I had to think about the topic which they all interested . So I titled it 'Talk to the people online' and I formed groups of eight and started with brain storming with what they talk online . They started with funny topics and then changed to serious topics like education, health , economic and so on. Then I told them to choose one topic and discuss and write about that topic including who, where , how , why , and some more express a success or an issue . I supported them some writing sheet and felt pen suitable with those sheets.
While they were writing I posted a picture from Home page and my article I love you dad and comments on it. The reason was to give them the example of giving and replying comments. When I asked them how much time they wanted they said ten or fifteen minutes but when they wrote it thy got into it very deep and last forty five minutes, And then I told them to post their writing on the walls and passed them the copies of my writing and comments. After they read , they went to the posted writing and gave comments each other groups. After that I rewarded a group with most interesting writing nice pens .Ir's the replacement of refreshment supposed to be in a workshop. Then I invited the girls registered to join VOF to make an appointment to teach them more with application process and anything they wanted to know with VOF .I have got some appointments and we will meet at the nearest internet center and will go forward.
I n case of catching the good connection now I will finish my sharing here and welcome your questions any time and see you there.

Lovingly
