On 19th November 2024, Girls Education Mission International (GEM), led by Executive Director Keturah Shammah and Program Manager Itswell Ya’u Magyaring, along with Hamza Ibrahim, the Bauchi Community Engagement Officer, and the TY Danjuma Foundation’s Education Program and Monitoring Officer, held a review meeting and advocacy session at the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (BASUBEB).

The session evaluated the impact of the Teachers’ Training Program conducted in June 2024, funded by the TY Danjuma Foundation and implemented with BASUBEB and the Bauchi State Ministry of Education. Key stakeholders, including the BASUBEB Permanent Secretary, Director of School Services, Board members, and trained teacher representatives, contributed insights on the program's successes and areas for improvement.
