Getting Started with Assignments

Hello Editorial Midwives!

You may start receiving draft assignments from our early bird Correspondents. I wanted to ensure that you fully understand your role, where to access the learning materials and assignments.

As an Editorial Midwife, we expect you to be familiar with both the learning materials and the assignment, so that you can review and provide detailed feedback to the Correspondents. You can provide suggestions and help on assignment topics, content, grammar, and structure. Some questions to consider when reviewing the assignment draft, include: Is she following the assignment? Is she keeping to the word limit? Is her story inspiring and personal?

To read over the assignment and materials, please visit the Voices of Our Future Classroom http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/programs/voices-of-our-future-2010-c.... Click on the \"Voices of Our Future Learning Materials\", then \"Module 1\", and then the \"Citizen Journalism Learning Materials\". Here is a quick link to the Module 1 learning materials, http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/programs/voices-of-our-future-2010-c... and the Module 1 assignment http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/programs/voices-of-our-future-2010-c....

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Rachael
