Girls Rights Project

Story
I founded the Girls Rights Project because I knew there were not enough people funding efforts to help girls who were not getting to live the lives they deserved. We fund anti trafficking efforts, girls education, legal help for girls and girls leadership and empowerment. I have been lucky to visit India, Burma, Cambodia, Rwanda and other countries as well as to be a CASA mentor in my local community. I believe the world is full of young women and girls ready to help their own communities. I am inspired by the change I see but also frustrated by the leadership of too many countries which prevent change from happening (our own included!). I know that when girls are given the education, resources and protection they need they can do wonders. Let's all help them this Day of the Girl Child!
