GO FOR GOLD DEAR GIRL

During my final year many years ago, my roommate and I went for \"MOMENTS WITH MO\" auditioning. (Nothing excites me like being on television.) We woke up early to join my radio boss who was running a media program at the Lagos Business School. He wasn't comfortable with me attending the audition. He could not comprehend why there should be an audition for one to sit as an audience of a talk show   Me I didn't care.

Haa!! “Nobody can talk me out of television ooo!“ I mumbled.

Grudgingly, he dropped us close to City Mall, Onikan and left. My roommate advised that we took a bike from there straight to the venue. \"Bike..Bike\"  ️we jumped on one together and to my surprise     one staff bus  turned to the street where we took the bike and hooked my jean trouser from the ankle     dragging us on the bike and at the same time tore my Jean yamayama

People were screaming STOP   STOP   banging the staff bus. The driver finally stopped    ✋✋✋✋✋

\"Aboki, you wan kill them abi? Oya park here\"

We were surrounded by people who wanted to see the girl who sat at the backseat of the bike.   I was expecting to see my skin ripped apart   but to everyone's surprise, not one scratch was on my skin. The jeans took all the intended punishment   Gracious God. The bike man left. My roommate asked that I went back to school since I wasn't looking presentable with the jean. I replied \"I can't wake up by 4.30am, get close to the venue of what is important to me and this incident will make me go back to school. Let's go.\"

While waiting for our turn to be auditioned, people kept looking at me in a funny way but I was determined. I entered the room and met Aunty MO ABUDU with the interview panelists. I introduced myself, I apologized for appearing the way I looked and briefly explained what happened. Aunty MO felt pity for me and said \"Waooooo! You made it despite the incident \"(nodding her head)

We left afterwards and we later received a message that we had been selected. What? I danced Makosa
We abandoned school for 5 days just to be audience on the MOMENT WITH MO talk show.
