Story
Dear my World Pulse family, my human Rights fighters. I write to draw your attention towards an urgent 'Call For Help' I received yesterday from Luz Estella De la ossa Gutiérrez, via twitter.
According to Article 12 of the Human Rights Declaration, it says;
''No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks''
Article 13 says;
1. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State.
2. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.
Luz is a Human Rights Defender, a social-community leader, a leader in restitution of dispossessed lands in Botoga D.C Colombia and also the legal representative, president of the Fundación Mujeres Víctimas y Restitución de Tierra ( NGO foundation)
Luz, her children and workmates present situation in Botoga D.C Colombia is under death threats. Their lives are at stake. They are presently facing a very delicate security situation.
The people whom herself and her organisation are trying to prosecute often called her on phone threatening to kill her, her children, husband and workmates because of their social work as a Human Rights Defenders and leaders in dispossessed lands.
In a conversation we had on Twitter and WhatsApp, she said herself and the rest of her love ones don't longer know what else to do and they what to leave Botoga D.C Colombia as soon as possible but her, her children, workmates need human rights and peace keeping leaders to come to their aid.
They have filed the pertinent complaints with the government entities prosecutor, attorney, police, presidency, Ombudsman's Office but nothing has been done rightfully.
This peace builder and Human right defender together with her family need urgent support. She asked me to reach out to fellow human rights defenders by sharing her story with the world.
