Her Shield

Here is a short poem written by me to inspire every woman, so that she  can create a shield which will always protect her from the evil.

Over a period of time
She learned to keep her emotions confined.
She was inconceivable to the world
Because she was concealed behind an invisible shield.
The shield that secured her from the aversive norms of the society
The shield that immunised her identity from being trampled by the devils
The shield that empowered her to fight against them whenever they tried threatening her existence.
The shield that ubiquitously moved along with her shadow, like the army with its commando.
The shield that protected her against the impediments that tried to stymie her from achieving the dreams

She never let them know that she was carrying an invisible shield, that helped her wounds to heal.

Now she has become the shield of someone else’s life, so that they can Fight for their Rights.
