First of all, I send love and light to Everyone struggling with their Mental Health. I send love to anyone struggling with any silent battles. And Yes, I use the term struggling because life happens sometimes, and some roads you need to take alone. No friends, no family, no partner. Just you and God. And it's okay to let go and surrender to the process. It's Okay to not be Okay.
I struggled with Low Self Esteem in my teenage and early adulthood years, and it is in maturity I finally understand that you can be Confident but STILL struggle with Low Self Esteem. From Emotional Childhood Abuse, Traumas, Hostility behaviours, Anti-Social Behaviours(Don't worry, you are not alone), Co-Dependency and So on and so forth.
To all my beautiful readers out there, Thank you! And Thank you to World Pulse for giving Women a Voice to share their stories. The intention of creating this Platform is to build an Online Community filled with Compassion, Empathy and Kindness. Here are some tips to help you navigate life in your 20's.
1.Be Intentional With Your Relationships/Partnerships:
Have Friends/Partners that treat you with Respect and Dignity(Okay. There's a high possibility that you might lose some friends in your 20's and it stings). But buckle up, we'll just enjoy this ride together. But if you're lucky to keep/make actual genuine friends, then be intentional with them. How do you want them to make you feel? What are your values in life? Be assertive with how how you want to be treated and remember, communication is key.
2 . Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone:
From starting new projects, travelling. to meeting new Cultures and Learning. You'll be amazed what you discover about yourself through these experiences. And don't forget to put your Big Girl/Boy Boots on! Enjoy the ride.
3 . LOVE YOURSELF
Forgive yourself. Everything that is happening is for your highest good. Life is Test. Life will always be a Test. All the lost parts you have shed, forgive yourself. You are where you are because of all of your lessons. I will be sharing my mirror work technique soon as to how to heal your Inner Child Wounds/Self Esteem issues.
4 . Eat. Pray. LOVE
Are you fond of the book, Eat Pray Love? Say your Gratitude. To God. To the Universe. That Sacred High Power that loves you more than you even love yourself. Eat Healthy, Exercise. Take care of your Temple(Body). Nourish and Respect it.
5 . Pray For Healthy Work Spaces and Environments
I pray that you experience healthy environments. Life is too short to be in spaces that are low vibrational and Negative. Try to avoid these spaces at all costs. From People, Places and Things. And good luck on that!
6 . Its Okay to Not be Okay
Don't give up on yourself. Life is a Move. Be the Architect of your OWN Life. It's okay to ask for help. Especially to you all 'Strong' Women. In all shapes of colour and form. May we continue Keeping on.
