Human Trafficking Speaker Panel in Eugene, OR

Hello community members! Human trafficking does not only occur abroad. It is a system of exploitation that occurs within our own communities and along the West Coast.

The Carnegie Global Oregon ethics program recognizes that human trafficking is a local issue. Myself and some of my colleagues present a speaker panel that serves to focus on prevention efforts by those in our community and in our neighboring state of California. We have put together a panel of speakers who are working on prevention, providing support, and empowering survivors of human trafficking.

Diana Janz: Director of Hope Ranch Ministries in Springfield, OR (http://www.hoperanchministries.com/)

AND survivors of human trafficking from our local community.

It is our hope that hearing about the valuable prevention work and experiences of our guests will inspire members of our community to become involved and to focus on prevention within the global community.
