I Nominate Jill Langhus for the World Pulse Spirit Award

Jill Langhus is a powerhouse. Her contribution to the World Pulse community is so inspiring. She has an admirable efficiency with which she connects to women in the World Pulse Community. She seems to know everyone and have a close enough connection to each woman to speak about her work, to share funding and other opportunities with women to help them source support for their work and encourages the women to continue in their strength. She has and continues to build an inspirational community of women who are strengthening women’s empowerment in a sustainable way.

Since we connected, Jill has closely followed my work and encourages me to keep manifesting my vision. She shares opportunities with me so consistently, I am often short for words at her efficiency. And she will often highlight opportunities that may not be relevant for me but very helpful for other women and encourages me to share such with women in my networks. In 2019, Jill nominated my organization for a prestigious global award and amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, my organization won the Next Generation Workplace Award in the Gold category as one of the best places for women to work by the Business Council for Peace (BPeace). My organization ended up being 1 of only 2 countries from Africa to win the BPeace Women Forward 2020 Awards.
