I will help rebuild my nation-Zimbabwe

Its often been said that we have two ears so that we can listen twice as much as we talk...as from yesterday...I agree... I was chatting with a friend that I had last seen in High School in 1995..(that should give you an idea of just how young I am...lol)Anyway,so we were catching up and questions went back and forth about our spouses,kids,work,you know the usual.Then my friend commented on how he would really love to come back home, so that his nation could benefit from his expertise............then it hit me....

So often when things get bad,we bolt(we run away) and watch from afar waiting for things to get better...But think about it,who do you want to make things better for you,while you are in hiding??? A lot Zimbabweans have left the country because of the political situation,some have not come back home for 20+ years and are living as refugees in foreign countries...while they wait for things to get better...

The thought broke my heart...who will make things better if not you...And very often these same people who have left for "greener pastures" come back home on holiday once in a while,and look down upon those who have refused to leave their homes,their spouses,children, families and friends,the very same people who maybe making things right ,so that one day those who fled may come back to a better Zimbabwe..

I determined there and there that I was going to make a difference..even if it just meant,i prayed earnestly everyday for my country and its people. We can all do the same for our various nations...lets not leave and watch from the shores of foreign lands...lets stay and make a difference,in your jobs,communities, schools,whatever your sphere of influence, BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE...

Refuse to just exist..choose to live and make your life count...If you choose to stay,then stay and do something to make things better...because if you stay and complain and still wait for others to take action,then you might as well have left.

I DARE YOU TO MOVE,MAKE A DIFFERENCE..........
