I Wish You Well, Poland

I turned on the TV this morning and shouted out when I saw the yellow breaking news bar on CNN announcing the death of the Polish President in a plane crash. His wife and several other top officials died in the accident too.

Poland as a country has suffered so much already. And for the this tragedy to occur just when the country was trying to put a sad past behind them is just not fair. The delegation was on its way to Russia to attend a ceremony marking 70 years since the slaughter of more than 22 000 Polish soldiers and civilians by Russia during WW2.

What a tragedy! My heart goes out to you Poland. May God give those affected by this tragedy, the strength to weather the pain, and Poland, the grace to stand up tall and stronger than before.
