InspireIT Partners With Kyusa In Uganda

Story
When I started InspireIT, I had a plan and still have a plan to inspire many young girls, women and youths all over the world through InspireIT mentoring program. I also have a vision of how I want to reach out globally to young girls and women who are interested in sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). InspireIT encourages young girls and women to get more involved in STEM.
To actualize my vision, I mapped out strategies and set out to look for people and organizations interested in my vision and willing to work with me.
I am excited to announce that InspireIT has partnered with a nonprofit organization in Uganda. This organization is called Kyusa.
Kyusa is a nonprofit in Kampala, Uganda that empowers out of school youth in urban slums to turn their passions into sustainable careers. The organization addresses the lack of the economic opportunity for school dropouts through an innovative, holistic program.
Through the use of free online courses, mentoring, skills development and entrepreneurship training, Kyusa turns participants’ mindset of hopelessness into determination and confidence.
Kyusa is currently setting up a community library so in case you know of any contact that offers free library books and laptops, please contact me or Kyusa.
You can check out Kyusa on their website: www.kyusa.org
