Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
Michael Grosspietsch is a social entrepreneur with passions for entrepreneurship solutions to social challenges in Africa and the world, and for lifelong education abroad. As co-founder and executive director of the Eos Visions group, he advises and guides foreign professionals, students and advocates realizing their potential to contribute to sustainable development processes in a broad sense in Africa, whilst enjoying the pleasure and learning opportunities provided by international travel. Within the group, his international team is particularly responsible for policy research, visionary program development, strategic partner liaison, and client mobilization and facilitation.

Michael has spent the better part of the past eight years in Africa, founded half a dozen start-up companies, lectured at the Institute of Political Science at the Westphalian Wilhelms-University in Münster/Germany, published several books and articles, spoken at various international conferences and traveled to almost 60 countries. His Ph.D. dissertation dealt with maximizing tourism's contribution to poverty reduction in Rwanda.
