Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
My name is Wendye Savage. I am the proud mother of five children, a United States Army veteran, Author, Poet, and Newspaper Columnist I am also an over comer and an inspiration to those around me due to my zest for life and positive attitude. I am also a dreamer; but I place hard work behind my dreams...My goal is to touch, heal, and inspire as many other women as possible. My desire is to be an aid and voice to women who are oppressed. Having over come mental abuse, sexual abuse, mental illness and other stormy obstacles in life, I have been groomed to be a conqueror....As I have heard stated \"There should be no child left behind\" I believe that there should also be No Woman left behind... There is a conqueror in us all. A shining star, perhaps hidden behind clouds of doubt due to adversity in life.
