Introducing myself and my journal: Access to Education!

About Me:
I am the founder of Global Education Fund, a nonprofit that improves the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world through education. To date, GEF has delivered support (libraries, textbooks, scholarships, leadership program) to children in more than twenty countries. After retiring from GEF in 2007, I started a consulting business that works with NGOs to evaluate programs and set up monitoring systems in-country. In my work, I use the three universal questions; are we doing what we said we would do? are we making a difference? are we doing the right thing? Please feel free to use these universal questions in the work that you do!

My Passions:
Education, leadership, small business loans

My Challenges:
Monitoring and Evaluating

My Vision for the Future:
I envision a world in which all children have access to education.

My Areas of Expertise:
Evaluating programs for NGOs and setting up in-country monitoring systems.
