Introducing myself and my journal: Africa Unite!

About Me:
I am a young energetic, happy and loving person. I am a wife and mother of two adorable children (boy and girl). I am my mother's last child but don't think i am spoilt so don't judge me on that hahaha. I am a Cameroon who now lives in South Africa, Johannesburg and i am passionate about development and empowerment of the poor and marginalised of our socieities. I will like the question the word development and ask what it means but i will leave this discussion for another time. I love my work but love my family more. I do alot of travelling in my work which sometimes frustrates me alot since it impacts on my values on spending time with family but again this is how life has made it. Being black you have to work really hard and being a woman in addition you have to work twice as hard for people to take you seriously. I look foward to going back home one day and make a difference in the lives of the disadvantaged in my community like i am doing presently in Southern Africa. i strongly criticise the lack of women in the political arena of our societies but i hate to see women that have the opportunities to make their voices heard or change the lives of other women and they don't do that.
