Introducing myself and my journal: CoNtaCt One 2 One

About Me:
I am a woman with a vision and a sense of purpose. A female, a Nigerian, 32 years of age and single. A graduate of biochemistry and currently a student of public health at the masters level, all of the university of Nigeria, Nsukka. I love intellectualism and brain-storming for innovative ideas. I read like mad (a book worm indeed), but also have time for fun ( I bet, you can't beat me when it comes to dancing). I strongly believe in speaking up for what is right, especially on issues that has to do with women's health, women's right and empowerment. Putting smiles on the faces of people- the poor, children , the disabled or physically challenged, women- makes me feel fulfilled, perhaps this was what prompted my involvement as a volunteer for a number of local NGOs coupled with my regular job of research. I have a strong passion for sharing with others on a one to one basis, this makes life more beautiful for everyone. My motto is this: \"Do all you can to lighten the burden for your fellow man\" and one way of doing this is to \"shout out\" for what is good and right.

My Passions:
Community development services, being a voice for vulnerable groups, reading, research, teaching and writing articles on social and public health issues

My Challenges:
trying to do so many things at the same time

My Vision for the Future:
My vision is to see African women taking up leadership positions in national and global politics, education, economics and indutrial development.

My Areas of Expertise:
Reserch, monitoring and evaluation of projects, teaching and writing scientific social articles
