About Me: I'm first and foremost a mom. A mom who cares about the world and cares about other moms living in poverty whose deaths related to pregnancy and childbirth can be prevented. My own children have been faced with losing their mother and I know the devastation my extended illness had on my family. The effect of a mother dying in child birth is exponential and affects her family, her community, her country and OUR world.
