Introducing myself and my journal: Green Farm Bhutan - Uplifting dignity of farmers and women

About Me:
Green Farm Bhutan is my passion project on Integrated peri-urban agriculture business started in 2012 in a place called Hongtsho in the capital city of Bhutan Thimphu. The main objective beside economic freedom through cash income, is to uplift the dignity of farmers and women in agriculture business. The Farm is women centered, is founded by me and involves women as many as possible.
The Farm operates with selected commodities, at the moment with: vegetables, poultry, flowers and fruits (strawberries). The groups mostly women produce, package and sell in the market. The Farm has got many plans in future for expansion. The different forums, supports, winning business ideas, are all together providing inspiration and motivation to move forward and share the stories for our sisters around the world.
