About Me:
I retired in 1999 as associate dean of arts and sciences at TCU (Texas Christian University) in Ft. Worth, Texas, USA. I also taught advanced writing courses and women's literature. Two of my great joys during my working years were helping to establish the Women's Studies program and being the first faculty sponsor of the TCU Triangle, an organization for GLBT students.

My Passions:
women's issues, GLBT issues, world hunger, teaching in Senior College

My Challenges:
helping my husband to live a fulfilling life after beginning dialysis

My Vision for the Future:
a world in which all of us can dwell in peace, accepting differences and working together to feed, clothe, and nourish all people.

My Areas of Expertise:
teaching writing, poetry
