Introducing myself and my journal: International Woman's Day Tribute

About Me:
I think I am just a voice. Here is what is on my mind today..:)

From the Stoning of Soraya to the unheard voices of women in Congo. To Esraa in Egypt who defied the Mubarak Government just with Tweets, organizing a revolution that both women and men took to the streets! Soaring high above the sea to a little town in Sicily, with only white sheets. In this town ever filled with violence and crime, these white sheets exposed the gangsters so they could take back their lives. Harrit Tubman, Maya Angelo, Carmelita Gopez Nuqui in the Philippines, and graffiti artist Panmela Castro. As we continue down the valley we land in India. Sunitha Kishnan stands only 4 feet tall but in her wake of trial she combats slave trade with love.

As women we give so much. These are just a few of the multitude of woman who serve others with genuine human conduct. God's closest and most treasured creature, magnificent when she reaches her full potential. He gave her the task to carry delicate and fragile life. Those that condemn women, oppress the women, murder the woman, and fear her success, forget were it not for a woman they would have never been born. As we stand to correct women's rights as human rights, and convince ourselves of our worth. We have just as much right at life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as any guy. Non-violently these women stand tall. So today on International Woman's Day we shall honor them, we shall honor all.

It is by these women's courage that I find the strength to reach toward a greater potential and serve my community.
